Our Philosophy

Our philosophy at Gk coaching is teaching our students valuable life lessons. At our cricket coaching academy, we believe in instilling the following values in our student:

  • Teamwork: Cricket is a team sport and success on the field requires cooperation and coordination among team members. Our Coaching program focuses on building strong teamwork skills that will help your child excel not just in cricket, but in all aspects of life.
  • Discipline: Cricket requires discipline and self control. Our coaches work closely with students to develop these qualities, which are essential in both sport and academics
  • Resilience: Cricket is a game of ups and downs and our coaching program teaches children how to bounce from setbacks and maintain a positive attitude even in the face of adversity.
  • Respect: Respect for teammates, opponents and officials is vital in cricket. Our program emphasizes the importance of showing respect both on and off the field.
  • Physical Fitness: Cricket is a physically demanding sport that requires strength, endurance and agility. Our Coaching program helps children develop the skills and fitness levels needs to be competitive and succeed in any sport.

  • I have the passion and desire to assist young cricketers to pursue there dreams to play professionally and just their full potential. I was privileged to rub shoulders with high profile players during my playing days. I would like to impart the knowledge to the players coach.

    Sports Coaching 2018-2023

  • I have previously done Cricket coaching at Marks Park cricket club for the U7, U9 and U11 age groups.
  • I was the head coach of cricket for the whole primary school at woodlands international college.
  • I previously coached soccer for the U7 team.
  • I also previously coached women’s U13 hockey.
  • I previously worked as a PE teacher for grades 1-3.
  • Coached and managing a cricket team for the wits U15 tournament.
  • Currently coaching and managing the Jeppe High School for Boys U14B cricket team as well as coaching in the jeppe winter cricket program.

    Contracted worker (2020)

  • I worked for Afritech Equipment Solutions in an oil refinery called Astron Energy as a storeman.

  • I have previously tutored grade 5 privately.
